History
The roots of today’s Inductron Group date back to 1972. At that time, Siemens AG founded the company as part of the group to develop and manufacture high-quality inductive components.
While the focus back then was still on components for high-voltage and high-frequency technology, Inductron today supplies many companies across a wide range of industries with inductive components of all types and sizes. In the 1980s, the product portfolio was expanded to include SMD inductances for radar and radio equipment.
In addition, vacuum encapsulation technology was used in mass production for components operating under harsh environmental conditions. In 1989, the company was acquired by Vacuumschmelze GmbH & Co. KG, and the development of inductances for additional applications, such as railway technology, was added as another focus area.
In 2003, Inductron Inductive Electronic Components GmbH was founded, and the company expanded its product portfolio to include inductances for many other industries, such as the aerospace industry, medical technology, and other sectors that rely on high-quality and reliable inductive components.
In 2015, the company moved into new office and production facilities in Schrobenhausen in order to expand its capacity to meet rising demand.
